Hey guys I'm presently a UW student who decided he needs a change. I did running start full time for 2 years with a 3.5GPA.. I had already skipped a year in middle school.. started college at age 14. I ended up with around 80 credits. For the last school year I have been attending the Univeristy of Washington. Took 12 credits fall quarter with a 3.89GPA. Winter I started with 12 credits and had to drop one class due to a death in the family, ended up with a 3.3 in 8 credits. Spring quarter I'm taking 15 credits, doing well and should be a 3.8 or above. I submitted two glowing letters of rec along with my application from professors. I feel that my essay was the strongest entrance essay I have ever written (both my parents were english majors). I have a huge list of after school activities that includes volunteer work and major competitive sports commitments (All American Swimmer, captain of the team). As I stand right now I have a 3.65 cumilitive GPA. Anyone have any opinions? If I don't get in the first time I will appeal the hell outta it..

hmm thanks guys!

Typically on these threads, members do not seem “chance” transfers. There are so many factors involved that it really is impossible to know from the stats you can give us here.

You might find some useful info in the Transfer Forum. I noticed a thread specifically for USC 2009. Also, scour the USC Transfer website and brochure.
[url=http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/apply/transfer.html]Transfer Students - USC Undergraduate Admission/url

Good luck!

Yeah, check out the USC transfer thread - they are on a mission to have it be the biggest and best of all the transfer threads. They are up to 730+ pages (and more than 11,000 posts!), so they are doing a great job. Ask for your chances there and they will have reason for another couple of pages! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/transfer-students/533874-usc-2009-transfer-thread.html

Thanks guys, posted on the USC thread.
