For those who have transferred, how did u get through the transfer credit evaluation?

Did the adviser want to see all the text books and notes used for every course that you took? Or just a sheet or two of the courses' syllabi?

I'm moving out and I need to get rid of my textbooks that approximately weigh 100 lb lol.

Most schools keep a file of where all their students have transfered from. Within that file is a list of courses and their equivalent at the university you are transfering to. They do this to keep things easy since transfering is always such a hassle, but chances are, they might already have a file like this that they will use for you. If not, they usually just ask what that course was primarily about (either asking your former institution of you yourself).

I hope that doesn’t sound too confusing. Basically, they have a list of colleges and what courses they’ve already offered/denied credit for. If your college or course isn’t on there, then they’ll ask about the course content.

If you have any specific questions, remember that you can always call their offices.

Vandy asked for all of my course syllabi, they wont need your textbooks.

I was asked to submit the course descriptions. For classes in my major, my department wanted to know what textbook I used.
