just wanted to mention that arts and sciences is new (and popular).

admissions are kinda rolling at mcgill. i worked a bit in recruitment/admissions and some ppl get accepted in february and it kinda keeps rolling and rolling. it's pretty common for you to be rejected for ur 2nd choice but accepted to your first, or accepted for 2nd before ur 1st is considered...etc

Well, I got in to Arts....McGill here I come!

Congrats!!

You're the guy who messaged on IM a while back, right?

yep, that's me!

Just wondering. Are any of you transfer students applying for residence?
On Minerva it says that I can check back 'after june 15th' to see if they have any space for me.

so..Is it after 'june 15th' yet? lol. because I still have the same "check back after june 15th" message displayed on Minerva.

could this be beacuse I have to accept an offer before I can apply for residence? Or am I just being nervous and impatient?

you have to accept the offer of admission before you can accept the offer for residence.

boo. That really, really sucks.
Im still waiting to hear back from another faculty.

Congrats to those who were accepted as transfers, particularly in Faculty of Arts. I am also trying to do the same thing, so I was wondering if you could tell me what your numbers were. Thank you very much.

Hey...

I am now at McGill...loving it.

I went to Western Michigan University, I had a 3.9 GPA over one year. My high school stats didnt have anything to do with my decision, they only look at university stuff.

so, from what I hear, McGill doesn't really look twice at your extra curriculars or essays when considering transfer students?

Does any one have any thoughts on this?

i believe they look mainly at grades

im obv in a different situataion-im not a transfer student and im canadian-but for us, the focus is purely on grades.
