TRANSFER.. does this ever happen to you??

I am a transfer applicant to Cornell and I checked my Cornell Application status online... it says I need College Official's Report.. what is that?
As a Cornell transfer I need to send my college transcript twice? Once for up to the previous semester...... and once after I complete the current semester?
It says: College Transcripts Needed 1
which do i send?
Thanks

I think you need to send a fall transcript and a spring midterm report, at least that’s what ILR GTs are required to send!

The Dean of Students or anyone that has access to both your academic and school judicial record must fill out the official's report and return it to Cornell. It was included in your application.

You mean the midterm grade report? what is an official report?
which transcript do they want?
thanks

The College Official Report is the sheet your college advisor or dean should fill out. It's page 4 of the 7 in the application.

I still don't see it...
I basically see the common app, midterm grade reports, and financial aid forms...
is it the Midterm Grade Report?
thanks

also, I need to send my college transcript twice? Once for up to the previous semester...... and once after I complete the current semester?

Log into your common app account, click the school forms tab, the click the pdf link that says "college officials report."

You only need to send your transcript up to your fall term grades, and the mid-term report. (Which is due the 15th.) Spring semester grades are only requested if you are accepted I believe.

You think I can put each class on a separate mid-term report?
For instance, 5 midterm reports instead of 1... so that each professor has their own... and that each professor doesnt know how I am doing in my other classes....
thanks

GTs are required to fill out a college official's report?
Who should I give it to if my advisor left the school...
and the dean doesnt know me...

The dean, all it really is used for is to show that you are in good academic standing. You should only send in one mid-term report.

I took the College Official's Report form to an advisor at my school to fill out... and she gave me GOOD (above average) rating for everything... is that good enough to send? or do you think i should redo it with another advisor?
im GT human ec....
thanks

thank you

i wouldnt worry about it too much. unless your adviser knows you on a personal level or taught a class you were in, she really has no basis other than you college grades, which cornell will interpret in their own way.

its slightly more important u get it to them quickly if at all past the deadline

i had to send in two transcripts, one during the midterm report which just shows fall semester, and one after the summer because i took summer classes, but i would have had to send it in the spring after i got my grades if i didnt take summer classes

Aren't you not supposed to see this form after it's filled out and the Dean should send it in for you?

wait...i haven't started sending in transcripts yet. is this bad? i'm waiting for a grade change. i submitted my app the 15th though.

the advisor gave it back to me so I could send in myself... she didnt seem to care...
what would you do if you were me?
