I'm looking to transfer from University of Miami in Florida to New York University. I've read that a good transfer essay provides specific reasons for transferring and goes into detail about the instituion you are transferring to. (for example, nyu with all it's networking opportunities being on wall street and nyc, etc)

However, commonapp allows only one essay for all universities. I'm applying to BU and Northeastern as well, although my first choice is obviously NYU. Won't BU and northeaster take it as a massive 'f you' if i basically say why stern is so great in my essay?

Also, I have mainly four reasons for transferring. One is that I'm living at home in Miami and I want to be independent. Two - I hate the whole atmosphere at UM. It's a party school, there's no doubt about that and I'm not that big a partyer. Maybe once a month, but for some people, it's the reason for their attending UM which is a bit disconcerting and distrubing, even though UM is a top 50 business school now and is climbing higher in the rankings every year.

Third, I just adore NYC.
Four, Stern is Stern. One of the best business schools in the world.

Do any of these reasons sound 'iffy' to include in an essay.
Also, should I concentrate on a specific reason or two, or try to incorporate all of them in my essay?
