Hey there.
This might sound crazy but before I make my move I really need your opinion/advise or anything that can be helpful.
So I am U.S citizen live in a foreign country. I go to local university and about to finish my degree with in one year.
After graduated from my university, I am planing to attended community college in the U.S and eventually hoping to attend state university in somewhere.
You might think I am going for second bachelor, but I’m not… I have two legal names from the country I live now and the U.S. I attend my university using foreign legal name, but when I go to the U.S, I will be using the other name.
So I am planing to go to community college and university hiding my transcript from current university so that I can have a clean start.
The reason I am going to do this is because I have a bad GPA and don’t have many transferrable credits.
I assume attending community college will save me lots of money and enable me to earn enough credits which can be transferred to universities.
But there is also some catch, I previously had attended high school in the U.S for a couple of semesters, I might have received some kind of aid (free lunch) from state that I was at the time and I don’t know if this will lead to disclosure.
And I recently, had applied for some U.S colleges as transfer and got rejected from some of them. I am not going to re-apply to those colleges when I go to the U.S but I am afraid they will keep my application and transcript even though I wasn’t accepted.
my question is, is there any chance I will be caught?
And will admission offices find out my former application to other U.S universities?
Thanks in advance.
