Hey guys! I am writing for my friend here. He applied to Jackson school of geosciences and College of Education. He wants to know if anyone is applying to either of them. Post up a few words so that he knows how many people are applying the same as him.

What are his stats? Courses taken and grades for each?

I am not really sure of the exact stuff. But he has a 3.5, he got 43 credits all done in a CC, none at high school. 3 rec letter from prof if i am not wrong(1 or 2 letters stating why he got a bad grade for 1 ENGL course). Average essay?

Anyone? Dun be shy! LOL.

That’s a tough call man. A 3.5ish is generally needed for COLA (one of the easier schools to get into), but if your friend applied to Education/Geosciences, he’ll need at least a 3.6 to be competitive. Just on GPA, he’s a little lacking as GPA is like 90% of admission. The average admitted GPA across the board was a 3.6ish so it’ll be a tight call.
