<p>Submitted my application a week before the deadline but I haven’t got my tracking info which drives me crazy!I sent them an email last week and they tell me I could receive the tracking info within a few weeks.
idk…maybe that is because I am an international student?
Anybody same with me or give me some help? </p>
<p>I submitted my app way back in the beginning of February (I wanted to submit my stuff before midterms came about), and I didn’t receive my tracking info for up to two/three weeks later and that was way before the deadline rush. BUT when I did receive the tracking portal info and logged on for the first time, they had already processed all of my materials. So don’t fret…even if you haven’t gotten your tracking info most likely by the time you do they’ll have processed majority of your materials. On the other hand, WHEN ARE DECISIONS COMING OUT??? I’m getting so anxious</p>
<p>I don’t think decisions come out til mid-may…which sucks because some schools have deadlines way before then. Barnard is my first choice but I wonder if they will let us know a bit earlier in case we need to send in a deposit to a backup school.</p>
<p>@bruuski Barnard is one of my top choices too and I’m banking on them telling us earlier because of other school’s deposit deadlines!</p>

<p>So, we’ll know BY the week of May 12, or will decisions only be released during that week? </p>
<p>@GalPacino Their formspring says this: “It looks like everyone should hear by the week of May 12th…” and also this “Transfers will hear in the week of the 12th of May. We will email and mail decisions.” So its a bit ambiguous.</p>
<p>I’m also worried about having to submit decisions by tomorrow at other schools. @GalPacino I’ve been accepted to Smith and Mount Holyoke</p>
<p>Same! Woo! The deposit is tomorrow though, so it looks like I’ll take a chance and wait on Barnard.</p>
<p>Hi guys! I hope its not too late, but I had a deposit due tomorrow for a school I was accepted to as well, and I called today and asked for an extension, and they gave me one! It may not be possible for all the schools, but it’s definitely worth a try, and it really saves a headache (and some money!). Good luck! I’m biting my nails like a beavers chomp on wood waiting for my decision :(</p>
<p>On my application status tracker, it still says that my application fee hasn’t been received. This must be a mistake–do you think that’s a problem?</p>
<p>AHHH I just emailed the school about that. The office emailed me back this afternoon stating should anything be missing, the transfer counselor will contact you directly, and that it can take several weeks for everything to be in order. It makes me nervous still my tracker isn’t updated, but if anything should actually be missing, you will be contacted directly so that they can make a decision. </p>
<p>Has anyone else had any trouble logging into the financial aid portal? For those of you that need aid, have you successfully been able to log into the portal to see if all of your financial documents have been received?</p>

<p>I have been successful in doing all of that. If I recall correctly, Barnard never contacted me about it–I just found their portal online and signed up using the ID Barnard gave me for my application.</p>
<p>@transferfall2014 Barnard only contacted me with info about my FA portal because I was missing some documents, otherwise I don’t think they can reach out to you about. There was a glitch in the system for me because it was marking some things as not received when it had previously said received so I was just wondering if anyone else had any issues with it. You can log onto your FA portal like GalPacino said by using the ID Barnard sent you when you first applied.</p>
<p>hey everyone! I’m currently a freshman looking to transfer and barnard is my top choice. i was just wondering if anyone has heard anything yet --I think some of the decisions have been sent out. I’ve been so anxious; may 12th can’t come soon enough!! also, what are you all doing about deposits at other schools? sending them in just to save your spot? calling in to get extensions? calling barnard to beg for an early decision release? let me know! I’ve been accepted to william & mary and i’m not sure what to do about their deposit because I really have my heart set on Barnard or NYU. </p>

<p>@ihatemycollege14 – I would definitely contact William and Mary to get an extension, if you hadn’t already. Hopefully you won’t have to give up that option! I had to let Mount Holyoke slip away because all of my other decisions were (and are still) pending…Barnard tomorrow (if it really is tomorrow) will be my first one after MoHo!</p>
