<p>I just called their office a few minutes ago and they said that they were hoping to get decisions out by mid-week, so like Wednesday or Thursday…this is killing me!</p>
<p>super anxious as well… I had to put a deposit on another school, just couldn’t risk it. I was also admitted to Columbia (through the General Studies program) but they are notoriously bad about financial aid, and I really really prefer the small liberal arts college - so crossing my fingers for Barnard</p>
<p>This might be a silly question, but I’m getting sooo nervous about this whole thing. I applied for financial aid, but I am about 100% sure I won’t qualify for any. Since Barnard is need-aware, would they just consider me as if I had never applied for any at all?</p>
<p>Has anybody heard anything yet? I thought they were releasing decisions today, but I haven’t gotten any emails. Now I’m getting super nervous!</p>
<p>Nope. Should come by this week, but according to their formspring, no one has heard today. I’m realllyyy hoping for tomorrow, but I think it’s more likely that everyone will hear by Wednesday or Thursday.</p>
<p>@GalPacino I think they look at how much need you have…though you applied for FA, they’ll base themselves on the amount of aid their FA people say the school would need to provide. I received a big scholarship and wanted to make sure the admissions people knew this change but they said that if I had provided the info as part of the CSS PROFILE that admissions would have that info when making their decision. </p>

<p>I second crushingpennies womp womp… no Barnard for me. Congrats to everyone that got in! I’m waiting to hear back from Columbia’s financial aid department, but not holding my breath for a reasonable package. Going to Smith College :)</p>
<p>omg I just got into Wesleyan Barnard and Wellesley and I’m literally in shock…I started crying and laughing and screaming and then more crying. I feel like I’m dreaming right now! So thankful that I put all the work in and I was actually good enough! </p>
