transfer financial aid

according to OASIS the information was supposed to be announced today, unless you had stuff missing. but they told me that i had nothing missing and i still havent received any information of financial aid, does this mean i wont be receiving any at all?
thanks

I would maybe wait a day or so to see if it shows up and then call the school to follow up and make sure everything is all set.

so i called and they said that transfer information wont be up until late june, thats weird. its not what their website said, ugh that makes my decisions so much more complicated

No!!! I kept checking to see if they had updated financial aid about every hour. Shame on them, Junes is two months away!

Yikes, sorry guys. I wish financial aid was more considerate of students. Best of luck to you!

does anyone financial aid summary say “is estimated” and if so what does that mean?

“is estimated” is probably being used in your financial award summary because USF doesn’t know for sure yet what the exact awards will be yet because the feds, the state and USF haven’t finalized figures yet. Also, USF doesn’t know for sure how many class hours you will actually take for the semester yet–so they use an estimate now for awards. The dollar amounts for state and federal grants, and also scholarships like Bright Futures may be different soon and USF is just using estimates for now. Too, USF will probably raise tuition fees soon like most of the other state universities. Hopefully no grant or scholarship programs will be dropped or radically changed soon. Nobody likes it, but charges seem to go up every year to attend any college–that’s life.
