Transfer from NJIT to RU-New Brunswick

I know there are threads with this title all over the website, but I want to know what my chances are specifically of getting accepted into the School of Engineering at New Brunswick as a sophomore (Fall 2020).

I am currently a freshman at NJIT majoring in Civil Engineering, and by the end of the fall 2019 semester, I will have completed 16 college credits. By the end of the school year, I will have completed 31 credits.

I looked over the basic requirements on the School of Engineering website, but I’m also aware that not all of my credits might transfer over. So, some of the classes I take right now include:

General Chemistry I (3 credits)
Civil Engineering Computer-Aided Design (1 credit)
Computer Programming using MATLAB (3 credits)
Fundamentals of Engineering Design (2 credits)
Humanities 101: Writing, Speaking, Thinking I (3 credits)
Calculus I (4 credits)

Next semester, I will be taking:

General Chemistry II (3 credits)
General Chemistry Lab (1 credit)
Humanities 102: Writing, Speaking, Thinking II (3 credits)
Calculus II (4 credits)
Physics I (3 credits)
Physics I Lab (1 credit)

So, could anyone let me know which of these credits will definitely be transferred over and which ones I should be concerned about? Thanks!

P.S. I’m not sure if this matters, but I did apply to RUSoE in December 2018 and got waitlisted in February 2019, then rejected in June 2019 shortly before my high school graduation, but I was told by an admissions representative over email that I could reapply to the SoE as a transfer student.

P.S.S. I also noticed that the admissions essay is “recommended”, not required. I’m still planning to submit an essay, but should I emphasize on it in my application? Should I worry about doing a lot of extracurriculars while I’m at NJIT, too?

In your essay, you need to explain why NB v.NJIT: What does NB precisely offers that NUIT doesnt?
In addition, you need to do more than just complete the requirements- you need good grades. Get a tutor right now to ensure you get as many As as possible.
Finally, get involved with some clubs.

For next semester, make sure you take only classes that will def transfer to RU. Each college handles transfer credits differently. Contact the RU engineering admissions office and see if they have guidelines for transfer credit.
