Transfer from Out of State; is it a good idea? what about financial aid?

I really like the Mason Business School. Is it difficult to get in from Out-of-State? How is W&M when it comes to Financial Aid?

I'm currently attending a community college in New York City. Also underrepresented minority if that helps

Hi,

I am an in-state transfer student and I'm sorry I can not provide any insight about Financial Aid.

If your GPA is around the 3.5 mark with a solid essay and solid recommendations, I believe you will have a strong chance of acceptance.

Personally, I am in the Mason School of Business (as a transfer) and it really is a great program. The staff is extremely helpful every step of the way (from acceptance to registration to actual classwork) and very accommodating of transfer students.

I hope someone here can provide some info about Fin. Aid, but I wish you all the best in your application process. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Good luck!
