Transfer from UCSB to UCLA?

I am a freshman at UCSB right now. How do I begin the process for transferring to UCLA? Is this very difficult to do?

i think u should go to UCLA's homepage and look for the transfer requirements. it doesn't seem that difficult to meet those requirements tho

its very difficult to do if you're already a freshman, since all UC schools only accept applicants who will be frosh or juniors upon entry. Furthermore you may have heard about the state budget troubles, and one thing the UC system is contemplating is restricting junior transfers to those coming from CC's.

But assuming they don't restrict junior transfers, your odds are about 1 in 4 of transferring according to the info at UCLA Undergrad Admissions: Profile of Admitted Transfer Students, Fall 2008

Actually if i remember correctly, the daily nexus last week printed that transfer spots will actually go up with the high likely hood that freshman enrollment would go down at all campuses beside UCLA and UCB

^ What southpasdena said. The article specifically said that it did not really apply to UCB,UCLA, or UCM. They are simply going to cut freshman admissions from all the campuses but these, and accept more transfers. This could mean more CC transfers AND possible more UC transfers.
