Transfer from UofM-Ann Arbor

I am currently going into my sophomore year at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. I have a 2.8 GPA due to getting sick and messing up some classes my second semester of my freshman year. Tell me, what are my chances of getting into SC as a transfer if I have really good application essays? I know my GPA is low but I thought that being that I came from UofM it would look like I have potential.

Tough to say, your GPA is pretty low for a transfer. I wouldnt count on the name of your current school to get you accepted into USC.

I'll be honest with you, the GPA is rather low for a transfer; and as CubsRule said earlier, don't count on a school's name to get you into USC. But, you never know, so give it a shot anyways.
