I should get a Bachelors in Psychology and then when I move on to graduate school is when I'll be getting into Industrial Psychology right?

so confused please explain to me. This is what i want to do ( Double major in Business and Psychology and minor in Accounting) but I dont know how to get it done!

Each college will have its own process. Do note that last I heard, some CSUs are not allowing double-majors because of impaction–so it is important to verify with a school what their specific policies are about double major, one simply can not assume (such as a case with a CSU) that a double major is allowed.

Assuming though, that one can double major, usually one contacts the department secretary and ask for the forms or procedure. Often it simply requires filling out a form and getting a few department head signatures. For some departments, declaring a second major is just a rubber stamp process (no review, simply automatic). for other departments, there may be a review process–prereqs, gpa minimum, and perhaps even more. It really depends on the college and the specific department.

Even before you transfer you can phone the department/s and simply say “I am a potential transfer student who wants to double major. What are the procedures and requirements to do this?”

Once you are at the college, you may be assigned an advisor–they may or may not be helpful. So even then, you would need to contact each department secretary/staff.

Also, once you are at the college, there should be an academic advising center which can help you as well. But in the end, you probably end up dealing directly with each department anyhow.

Make a few phone calls now. No need to wait and the information is good to know ahead of time.
