<p>Between Sociology and Legal studies, which major is easier to gain admission to as a transfer? </p>
<p>I like them both, and obviously want the best shot I can get at Berk.</p>

<p>I think they’re both about the same. I’m transferring as an English major, and CAL has the #1 English dept in the country. Everybody who I know that applied as an English major got in (50+ people). But the only people I know of who haven’t gotten in didn’t have the pre-reqs done. </p>
<p>Your major is really only going to affect you if you’re applying to an impacted major (bio, engineering, business). Otherwise that, don’t really stress it. Declare whatever major you can write a better personal statement about. =)</p>
