Transfer problem

Hi,everybody.
I am a international student, I have studied in Community collge for almost a year.
I decide to transfer to The New York Univerysity for business major.
Can anyone give a hand to tell me about the requirement and methods.
I just feel very streeful and helpless.

Thanks a lot.

Is there something specific that you don't understand on the NYU transfer admissions website?

NYU > Undergraduate Admissions > Applying for Admission > Transfer Applicants

Also, lots of good information in the sticky thread at the top of this forum: Transfer Admissions 101

Actually,

Should I need to enter a university first and then change the school?
or I can apply for the univeristy in transfering program?

Which one will be better and easier?

Thanks.

From the NYU website that I gave you the link for:

"You should apply as a transfer student if you currently are or have been enrolled as a degree candidate in another college or university."

Therefore, you must apply as a transfer.

But I heard from others that transfering to NYU is quite hard.

If I transfer to other university, (I decide to go to Penn State - Harrisburg)
Will it be easier for me to tansfer to NYU than from a community college in Pennsylvania ?

Thanks to your help.

I'm sorry, but I'm not that familiar with the NYU transfer process, so I don't know if they take a lot of CC students or not. Going to Penn State might show that you are able to handle classes at a 4 year college, but that would only be a benefit if you could still do well grade-wise, get to know profs well to write you LORs and participate in ECs.
