Didn't think I would ever post on this forum again after waiting 6 months for Michigan to reject me last year but here I am. More refreshed than ever.

So right now I'm at St. John's University's 6 year pharmacy program. It blows here. I'm commuting so that probably adds to it, but even then, it still would blow. Social life sucks, all I do is study.

I want to get out of here so I want to reapply to U of M as a transfer. I noticed there are 3 terms one may transfer into: spring, summer, or fall.

I would LOVE to apply to the spring term but is the chance of acceptance equally weighed if I choose the fall option? I want to maximize my chances as much as possible.

Also, I know Michigan is pretty welcoming on transfers, but I was wondering what kind of GPA they usually favor from college. Just a range is fine.

Hopefully I'll get in this time round. Regardless, go blue!

Well I know you can apply for Winter and Fall, not sure about summer… I want to say no you can’t. Admissions is slot-selective so winter has fewer slots, but less applicants. I’m not sure about GPA for LSA, but it is competitive, and it’s the predominate factor they consider for transfers.

No I would apply either for Spring or Fall. I want to get out of my current school ASAP, so I was wondering if my chances decrease if I applied as a Spring transfer rather than Fall.
