Transfer Questions

Hi all.
Really need help and have major transfer questions. Senior in high school and my dilemma is transferring confuses me. The main schools I am trying to get to are University of Notre Dame(top choice) and Emory University. For ND transfer admissions said it does not matter what school I come from. I wanted to go to Stonehill cause got a nice scholarship, but hear anyone transfer to ND from there? Also it was between that and Fordham and at ND they said GPA key and a 3.7 at one school would carry same weight as the other. This sund right?

Also I am a legacy at ND (4.0 GPA but a 1350 sat ruined me lol). Does legacy count for transfers? Also I know and would never try to go to Mendoza. I am thinking instead Econ major and accounting grad school. Can you take any business classes as a transfer or absolutely nothing business whatsoever?

Sorry for all the questions. Also one is would Stonehill be an ok choice for Emory as well?

Finally anyone here of Econ majors getting with Big 4 accounting firms?

Thanks advance for the help

Go to the best school you can for the best price and do well there. Going to a better school does give you a leg up regardless of what transfer admissions told you.

Is your 1350 CR+M or is writing also included? If writing is included you absolutely need to retake the SAT.

Oh no haha just math and verbal.
Math-750 Verbal-600

Also ok that was my feeling and I asked a lot. My uncle is big at ND and has connections and all said go whereveer but I’m with you

Notre Dame does consider writing scores too, fyi. What was your composite score?

Honestly, with legacy status and your stats, I’m surprised you didn’t get in as a freshman.

Writing was 650 with 11/12 on essay. Ya I was really disappointed but their average SAT are just so high. I even had an uncle who’s a “powerful” alumni but sat averages where 1460 so guess that’s why. Stinks now I can’t do accounting but if I can transfer I will be happy, and with good hs GPA I hope my hard work will carry to college. Know anything about Emory? I never applied as freshman (major regret). B-school and school in general look amazing
