Transfer student from a VCCS to UVA?

<p>I am currently a student at VCCS, a VA community college, and I was wondering how hard is it to transfer to UVA or VT after I get my associates from cc? Is it possible to get rejected? </p>

<p>Asking because I heard its much easier to get in through cc, and I believe there is some kind of transfer agreement between the VA cc and the state universities, but Im not too sure how that works. So if anybody has had experience transferring from a VCCS to UVA or VT, your input would be much appreciated!</p>

<p>its guaranteed admissions with a 3.2 or above from vccs to any of those schools- but yu need and articulation agreement from vccs. see the counseling office or whatever for the agreement.</p>

<p>Definitely schedule a meeting w/ a transfer counselor at your campus. The requirements for UVA & Tech will be different. There are lots of different articulation agreements & many have varying req’s.</p>

<p>The articulation agreements should be available online through your cc - check them out because you’ll want to know the requirements - </p>
