transfer student housing

Does anyone know anything about what housing will be available to transfer students for Spring 2010? At this time of year, does Binghamton still have forced triples?

i don’t know whether or not they are still forcing triples, but there is a form online for all spring 2010 transfers to fill out with your housing preferences. They can’t house you until you fill out the form. (It’s at the reslife website) But, yeah thats all I really know. They did tell me that everyone who needs housing should get it.

Most tripling occurs at the beginning of the Fall semester as there are so many students entering the campus. In the spring, reslife goes over how many spots on campus they have to house transfer students and they fill whatever space they have left. Transfer students, if they request housing, can be placed anywhere on campus (one of the 5 residential communities or one of the 2 apartment communities).

Dear sarinaynay- do you have the url for the place to get the form? I don’t see it on the binghamton website.

Also, BingAmbassador do you know whether any medical singles are available for transfer students for Spring 10? thanks

you need to sign in with your PODS username and password, if you dont have one yet, this link shows you how to do it.

Readercc - you would need to contact residential life at reslife.binghamton.edu for more information on Medical singles. There are medical singles in each community but it will really depend on whether they are open or not. Also, you may be able to request to be in the apartment communities which are generally singles.

As long as you have a doctor’s reason and note and there is availability I personally wouldn’t see why it would be a problem.
