Transfer Student & Maximum Quarters

Hello,

I’m curious about whether or not transfer students at Davis have to graduate within a certaim amount of semesters (or time). For example, if a student transfers to Davis and his/her first Semester is the Fall of 2011, will he/she be required to graduate by the Spring of 2013?

Thanks!

Depends on their major, I think.

All UC’s seem to have a different policy. UC Berkeley’s policy states that transfer students are allowed only 4 semesters (5 semesters if the student is a double-major) in order to graduate.

I can’t seem to find any info about this at Davis.

The only reason I ask is that I REALLY want to do the pre-med sequence (and perhaps Biological Science major) at Davis and not at a community college, which will require at least 3 years after transferring to Davis.

As a junior transfer student, you transfer with a maximum of 105 units and must graduate by 225 units.
