Transfer Student questions and more

I can get a 4.1gpa by the end of senior year and my SAT score is 2080 as of now but I think I can get 2200+ on the October SAT and I have 100+community hours service. I don’t have a lot of leadership EC’s (just random EC’s) but I did go to China for half a year (similar to overseas study)(I plan on writing about my experience with learning a different language for my common APP essay, although I am Chinese I feel that I’m more fluent than other Chinese Americans)
Will I be able to get in UT?
Side question: I want to major in sciences and math. Should I focus on social studies and other AP’s so that I get 5’s and college credit? Because I thought that the the science and math AP’s wouldn’t be counted since it’s my major.
If I don’t get in:
Questions: What is CNS, COLA and UGS?
I’m worried about on-campus housing.
What should I major in so that my chances of getting in UT are higher? (I’ve considered petroleum engineering, computer science engineering , business – although I don’t know much about its specific majors—chemical, and jobs in finances) I’d like a job that deals with math or one with math and science, not just science such as biology.
What if I don’t get any housing on-campus?
There’s no early action right? So I apply at the same time as everyone else right? If not, when should I apply?
How can I make sure that I get on-campus housing? Will I be able to get 30 credit hours(which is what is required right?) in 1 year(I have will have a lot of AP credits, including foreign language credit)?
What college should I go to for my first year? I live in Houston so is UH the best route? (money is in consideration throughout this process)
Considering that I’m able to get a high GPA in my 1st year of college, I’m thinking CAP shouldn’t be considered for me right?
Any advice from experienced transfer students?
Any advice for freshmans to get a high GPA? How are the study methods different between in high school and in college in your opinion?
Also: When I apply for a job in the future, will my experience at a "lower" college affect my application? If I go to UH or a different "lower" college should I take some courses at a community college since they're cheaper?

This website says that for freshmans there's only a .1% for 2013. What does that mean?

Is double majoring very expensive and/or difficult?

If you decide to attend UH, make sure you sign up for the Honors College. That will compensate for it’s slightly lower status or ‘prestige.’ UH is a Tier 1 so I think the Honors College will look very good on a resume.
