I am currently a freshman at University of Florida (from New York). When I applied last fall, I was accepted and even granted a $1,000 academic scholarship (which I know is rare for this school). When I called, they said all of that is out the window. I just need to apply with a transfer application. And they even said my grades don't matter that much, just the classes I am taking. I don't see how that could be possible though. They also said something about required classes transfer students need to be taking which also confused me. I really really regret not going here and desperately want to transfer and would be devastated if I do not get in now. Can someone please explain how to go about this. Thanks.

Hey, I’m applying as a transfer as well. I’ve completed 2 full yrs at Northeastern U (in Boston) & am doing an internship this semester/in the spring

I have a 3.6 in mechanical engineering… does anyone have any stats on transfers?

I’m in for Spring from an out of state CC. 3.93 college GPA, no SAT scores, no extracurriculars (I work full time), GED kid.
