I am currently a student at the University of Michigan and I thinking about transferring to University of Texas or University of Oklahoma. I am a resident of Texas but I am unsure of my chances of getting into Texas. I expect to have a GPA of at least a 3.3.

I dont know about texas, I'm applyig there myself out-of-state with around a 3.5. You prob have better chances since your'e a resident. Have you been to UT? What is texas like? Oh and how is Michigan? Why would you want to leave UM and what were your'e stats to get in? I know too many ?

You will get in. Stop worrying. You go to Michigan!!

For UT it totally depends on what you're majoring in. If you're, say, in engineering or music, it can be very competitive and I'd warn against getting your hopes up. If you're liberal arts or humanities, though, it should be a piece of cake with a 3.3. For UT, your transfer application goes to the approrpiate department for review. I know nothing about OU though. Good luck!
