Transfer to Appalachian State University

I am considering a transfer to Appalachian state university for the fall 2010 semester. The school i go to now has to many people from my high school at it and all of that I just kinda of want to branch out on my own a little bit.

I was just wondering if you guys had an experience or opinions on Appalachian state. I haven't been to visit yet so i'm doin what research i can via the internet and I figure there's not better way to gain some inside info than from people who have lived it.

Thanks for the input guys

Anyone have any input??

little bump here

My D was accepted there for next fall (2010). We have been very impressed with the school. I can’t give you any great insights since she is not a student there, but they have done a great job with the admissions process. It’s a lovely school and the buildings and campus are all in great shape. All the faculty and staff we met were very friendly and welcoming.
Good luck with your decision!

I do not attend App, but I am from North Carolina and know at least 50 people there from my high school. They all LOVE it. The weather is crazy cold though, so be prepared.

I don’t know if partying is your thing, but as a North Carolinian, I can tell you that App has a reputation of a party school.
