<p>Ok so I'm about to go into my second year of college with a psychology major and a premed program. Problem being my school has a pieced together premed program. It was literally put together in 10 minutes by the science department director. Anyways, I would like to know if I might have a chance of getting into either Georgetown or George Washington with a 3.5-3.6 GPA. I am my school's Student Government Vice President and my Fraternity secretary. Also by the time I transfer (either Spring 11 or Fall 11) I will have started a national society chapter on my campus. Can anyone give me chances of getting into either of these schools? I applied to both in High School but got rejected.</p>
<p>Not sure about GW, but your GPA seems a little on the low side for Georgetown.
For Fall 2010 the average GPA of accepted transfers was 3.8.</p>
<p>ok any idea for another school? I entered the school I’m at now with a math major but decided to do premed and psychology so I can do psychiatry. The problem is that the school I’m at now has no actual premed program (it was put together in 10 minutes over the phone) and, that being so, has never sent anyone to med school.</p>
