Transfer to North Carolina Sate University

I got a letter today requesting my spring 2009 grades and am taking that as a good sign. I have a 3.74 GPA from a SUNY school after my first semester and did pretty well in highschool(3.4) including NHS and key club. I fulfilled all my prerequisites and was wondering if anybody thinks I have a good shot at getting in? I dont know if it helps but my dad is a resident of NC cause im not.

O and I am applying to the school of engineering and have a good reccomendation letter from a professor explaining how into engineering I am.

anybodies oppinion would be appreciated!

Got the same letter the other day. Do they require 2nd semester grades for ever college freshman transfer?

i would geuss/hope that they only request spring grades for kids they are interested in.

when schools ask for your spring grades does that mean that your pretty much accepted if you do well again?

...if they ask for spring grades, then obviously they are interested in you, they just need to see more college work. I would speculate that if you do the same in your sprng semester as in your fall semester, you will be accepted; if you fall short in the spring semester, then you are headed for rejection.

I hope that is true but it will be pretty hard for me to beat a 3.74 with harder physics and calc this semeter, anyway, do you think they will even look at SAT or highschool?

anybody know if they will consider your SAT or highschool?

Any body else no anything about this school?
