Hello people,
I was wondering if anyone would be willing to tell me what they think my chances of getting in to Notre Dame would be next fall! I'm currently a freshman at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and have had my eyes set on Notre Dame for a while. Here are my stats:
High school GPA: 3.74 (unweighted)
ACT: 31
First semester college GPA: 3.64 (based on UW's GPA calculations)
Classes: Fourth semester french, general anthropology, a class on the modern middle east, a class on Islamic culture in France (so a bunch of social science classes they may or may not transfer), and a masters-level jazz class that performs regularly.
Second semester classes (most of them I chose to take care of transfer requirements at Notre Dame): Calculus, Biology, History, fifth semester french, and the jazz class again.

I have 5 AP tests under my belt, but I only got 4s and 5s on 3 of them. Also I tested out of English requirements at UW, so hopefully that means I don't have to take any English classes to get in to Notre Dame either.

Extracurriculars: Right now I'm a mentor/tutor at the local Boys and Girls club. In the past I've also taught music lessons and volunteered with various organizations that use sports/music as fundraisers and activities for kids with cancer or mental disabilities. In high school, I was first chair percussion and also the section leader for the drum line in the marching band. I was also the captain of my school's JV soccer team and for my club team for multiple years. I also won my school's music department $5,000 through winning music competitions.

I have one professor writing a letter of recommendation. Also, I've been in constant contact with the admissions department at ND so hopefully they know who I am by now.

Sorry for the long post but I want to know if I should get my hopes up about getting in to this school or not. Any help or advice for improving my chances would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
