Transfer to NYU? American? Others?

<p>Hi there, </p>

<p>basically I wish to transfer because my current university doesn’t have what I’m looking for. The thing is, I don’t exactly know what I want…</p>

<p>I’m really interested in cultures and languages, but not sure what major I could declare from this. There’s always International Relations or International Business, but I can’t see myself doing either of those.</p>

<p>The reason why I’m particularly interested in NYU is because of their new Global Liberal Studies program. It sounds great though the downfall is that I can’t exactly choose whatever country I want to focus on (I can only pick from the ones listed). </p>

<p>So here are my Q’s:

  1. Those who attend NYU or American — Could you tell me how life is like on campus (how happy are you generally)? Is it hard for transfers to adjust? </p>

<li><p>Recommend me a major to look into! (Haha, I seriously need help with this one!) </p></li>
<li><p>Recommend me a school as well besides NYU, American, etc. </p></li>

<p>American is well respected in the dc metro area. you could also look at George Washington. Expensive, but a good school.</p>
