Is there someone who know how much GPA or SAT points need to transfer to NYU(Stern---Finance major)??
I want to transfer to Finance of stern.
I am an ASU student(W.P.Carery---Finance major) and my GPA is 3.7 and SAT score is about 1300.
Is it enough??
Is there something I need to know to transfer??

You're going to need a higher S.A.T., so you should re-take them. Also, you should have some business related internships if possible. I think your G.P.A. is solid.

you can't retake your SAT if you're in college. well, you can, but nyu will not consider those scores. 'about 1300' is pretty vague. if it is less than that, you're probably not gonna make it. 126 were admitted last year and 95 transfers this year. and wait till junior year and aim for a 3.8+ by taking difficult yet relevant and write a killer essay. gl

how come the SAT matters in transfer admissions? I mean the SAT is used to predict ur first year college success and if u have a good GPA, does it really matter?

i think SAT weighs only if your transfering your soph year. i think they mostly just weight GPA if your transfering soph year
