Anyone have any info on this? It might be something I have to look at...

i want to know to. I want in at UCSB if everyoen else rejects me (i didn't apply)

UCSB for sure. I think UCR as well. UCSD if u sign TAG.

what do you mean highschoolda? could i apply to UCSB for winter quarter? i don't understand.

yes, u can. Although i heard that Winter is more competitive. need about a 3.2 to have a good shot.

well, i have a bit higher than that. We'll see where i end up after May. I have decided that i am NOT going back to UCR after this quarter no matter what. There is a good chance that ill get rejected from all the schools i applied to as i applied to competitive schools / majors and i definitely want to continue my education .. just not at UCR. Do you know how i would apply for winter quarter? is it the same application process as the fall one?

there is a chart up on uc notes... there is a link in the UC decision thread, about 4-5 pages back from the current one.

it tells you all the schools accepting winter transfer and the ones still open for Fall transfer like Merced and UCR.

I actually just send in a correction to add Merced to my application. I figure its reallly cheap to live there, and since the schoool is sooooo new shouldnt they give lots of financial aid especially to well qualified applicants
