I'm considering transferring to NW for Econ. My brother is going to apply ED and my cousin all ready goes there for ECON as well.

I'm at a local community college and I'll be able to pull of something around a 4.0. I'm re-taking my ACT so I can get a 28+. I'll also be taking the SAT as well in October.

I'm joining student senate, india/paki association, think tank, and im also considering creating my own finance/accounting club.

Though the stats I've given aren't hardcore, what do you believe the chances are of getting in?

The average ACT is around 32-33. I've heard differing opinions on the difficulty of getting in as a transfer, but you appear pretty far out. I'm not sure that a 4.0 at a CC and being an indirect legacy (cousins count far less than closer, blood relatives) makes up for 4 points on the ACT.

If you get a 4.0 at a CC and a 28, then you just show that you are a star student at lesser colleges but likely couldn't hack it at NU. Nearly every applicant to NU could get a 4.0 at a CC, so that doesn't help you too much.
