<p>I am trying to gether some information on how to go about transferring to another institution. Is this process similar to a new admission, or are there some new angles/strategies involved?</p>

<p>As long as you have good grades, it's a pretty easy process. Transfer application, professor recommendations, transcripts, essay on topic suggested on transfer application, and other needed info depends on how many credits you have at your current school. All of the info needed should be listed on the transfer application and on the college website.</p>

<p>This depends on the school you're trying to transfer to, as many have acceptance rates lower than for freshman applicants. </p>
