Transfering from Harpurs to School of Management.

And im the preschool kid putting a square into a circle? As stated before i have already been accepted for transfer and went over everything with penn state before applying. its not a hard concept. Freshman year at binghamton applied to penn state smeal. Got accepted. If i were to go. sophmore year go to branch campus. junior + senior year at university park/main campus in smeal . get a degree from the real smeal and at the main campus? Ive been sayin the same thing from the beginning maybe rewording it for the fifth time might get you to understand.

It has taken five times of you writing what you're trying to say for me to understand. You're right on that point. I agree with what you said about:

"If i were to go. sophmore year go to branch campus. junior + senior year at university park/main campus in smeal."

It's just not getting directly into the main campus, as that's not possible. Unfortunately, people in the system just slide up from branch campuses, despite the fact that they weren't able to get accepted to the main Smeal.

I understand what your saying now. Why is that unfortunate, people cant transfer into smeal directly so how could they get accepted? If you mean from high school, i applied to penn state for engineering and got in but opted not to go. Im pretty sure i would have gotten into smeal as one of my friends who has lower gpa and sat, same extra curriculars, both white males, both same economic class. got in. I got to college and found out engineering wasnt for me, i should be able to switch my major.

I am in the same situation. They [Binghmaton adm office] informed me that they hadn't even opened my application for SoM since the seats were full. They, however, shifted my application to harpur college and yesterday confirmed my acceptance.

I was wondering if it is worthwile to join Harpur College seeing that I havern't yet received any other decision and will have to pay $27400, which can be too much for an Indian family.
