Transfering to Cal Poly SLO/Pomona probability

<p>Hello everyone,</p>

<p>I'm an engineering major and I'm coming close to completing the transfer requirements to go to Cal Poly SLO/Pomona.</p>

<p>I applied to both schools already for the Fall 2009 class. Pomona accepted me 9 days after I applied. When can I expect to hear back from SLO? I currently have a 3.21 GPA, however at the end of this semester it should go up to a 3.3, maybe 3.35. When does Cal Poly SLO notify their applicants if they are accepted? Is a 3.35 GPA enough to get accepted for a mechanical engineering major?</p>

<p>don't know SLO's timetable but can tell you that the standards for admission are way higher on that campus as opposed to pomona.</p>

<p>sorry for off-topic, just wondering has Pomona accepted admission for Fall 2009 already? and if you don't mind, where do you apply from?</p>
