Transfering with an Upward Trend in GPA

I am currently a freshman in UCR, and my GPA started off very low.
So, is it still possible for me to transfer as a junior to another UC school (preferably UCB or UCLA) with an upward trend in GPA?

===Quarter GPA===
Fall: 2.547
Winter: 3.053
Spring (anticipated): 3.925
===Overall GPA===
Current: 2.8
Anticipated: 3.175

You need first to prove to yourself that you are able to survive in a more competitive environment of UCLA. Unless you achieve your target for this Spring semester, I would say you are not ready for that challenge.

You’re anticipating going from essentially a 3.0 to 4.0 in one quarter?

@Ohm888, I think I’m bound to get a B in one class this quarter. So, it looks like I might get around a 3.8 for the spring quarter.

I’m also going to take summer courses this year to further bring up my GPA.

Anyone???
