Transferring after a little over a week?

So I am a new freshman at college. I'm attending a huge state university with over 50,000 students. I chose this college because it was more affordable than my first choice. I'm actually paying $500 a semester to go here because I have a lot of scholarships and financial aid set up here. Here's my issue: I hate it here. The people are fine, I've met a few friends. My issue is the size. It takes me about 20 minutes to get to each of my classes, and that's on a bike! This University is sprawling and ginormous. I hate how many students there are. I never see anyone familiar out and about, even though I've gone out of my way to talk to most everyone I see at my dorm, in the dining hall, in class etc. Also 3 of my four classes are taught by TA's instead of the professor and they're in large lecture halls where I can't understand what's being said. There is little to no school spirit, and no sense of community. I would 100% transfer after 1 semester.
Here's the twist: I have a chance to go to my actual first choice school next week. They start later than the school I'm currently at, and they would still accept me there for this semester. This is a small private school, with 6,000 undergrad students. I really think this would be a better fit for me, as I come from a very small high school. I honestly just think I made a mistake coming to the large state university solely for money reasons. My financial aid I have at the small private school is still very good, but I will have to pay a bit more out of pocket. I would be put in a random dorm and have to take classes that were left with open seats, but I think I want to do it. I would stick it out a semester, but if I do, my scholarships for the private school will not be offered to me as an actual transfer student. My friends think it would be just giving up if I left this early, but I think it would be me taking an opportunity to better my college experience.
Thoughts and opinions?

EDIT: the program of the major I'm interested in is very good in both colleges

Go to the private school. If it feels right, do it. And I bet you won’t regret it.

Do it if you or your parents can afford it. Are you paying out of your own money or are your parents? Is that financially possible?
