I am a 2nd semester freshman looking to transfer to a University. My schools transfer requirements are 30 credit hours. I have taken 14 first semester and am taking 17 credit hours this semester. When I send my college transcript I will only have 14 credit hours. Will they say your accepted as long as your next transcript show you got good grades? Will they wait untill you send in your final transcript? I really don't want to wait until late may to find out.

Thanks for the help.

Commonly, when they say 30 credits, they mean 30 credits by the end of your current year. So yeah, you’re probably good.

Yes I know, but that doesnt really answer my question.

midterm report then after ur acceptance u send in the final transcript

does midterm report mean my first semester grades?

somebody please help! =P

It depends on the school. Using USC as an example, if you apply by Feb 2 they have your Fall grades. Generally speaking (through not always), they will request a Spring Grade Report from you after your Spring transcript is available. In USC’s case, that was due by June 30, and they released decisions through mid July.

Alright thanks!.. wow it must be an agonizing wait until mid July! Does anybody know specifically about UNCW and NC state? I’ll call tomorrow!
