Transferring CPA "Certificate" from different state?

Hello,

I posted a topic earlier in regards to taking CPA exam without bachelor's degree. Well, I found out that 47 states in United States needs to have a degree to sit for CPA exam. Only state that does not need a bachelor's degree is Delaware. Suppose I receive my CPA certificate in Delaware, would I be able to transfer that certificate and get my license in CA? One thing that's bothering me is that CA will not accept CPA score transfer from another state if applicant took the exam before they received their degree. However, because I passed all four sections and received a certificate, I am hoping that this can serve as a loophole in the system where I can take the exam before graduation. If anybody have any similar experience from recommendations, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you,

You have to check the reciprocity laws between the states. I would first contact DE to find out if there are other requirements before you sit for the exam such as an experience requirement. 2 - 3 years Experience working under a CPA. Second, check CA’s reciprocity laws. Typically you would have to be in practice for a while before it is transferable. You might as well finish college. It’s easier.

I wouldn’t want a CPA without formal business training or a Law background. The risk of loss is too great.
