Transferring from a UC to UCSD.

How hard is it to transfer from a UC such as UCI or UCD to UCSD?

Also, what is the fastest way I can do it?

I really wanted UCSD and I love San Diego...and I wanna do whatever I can to get there as soon as I can, even if it means taking classes over summer. Whatever it takes.

Do CC if you really want UCSD...

CC (10 char)

I was accepted to UCSD, from UC Merced after one year at UCM. :) Its not that hard actually.

It's easiest to go to any UC campus from UC Merced.

I'm at UCR (currently a sohpomore) and I got in UCSD, UCD, and UCI. Not very hard to do a transfer; you might even be able to do it after a year instead of 2.

heck, it even works from switching from SD to "higher" uc's; one of my friends at SD got into LA after working really hard in his 1st yr.

I'm transferring from UCSC to UCSD w/ just a 3.0 and barely any major classes. I also got a D in one of my classes so, its not that hard haha.

CC is still easier compare to another UC, even some of you think it's easy. Because California has regulation that protect above 90% of transfer space has to reserve for CC students. You may go check on that. I remember I saw it on UC website.
