Hello!
I read on a discussion once that CPP and CPSLO had a transfer agreement but the discussion was quite outdated. I was wondering if that is still the case today and if I can transfer out in a year? Right now, I am an upcoming freshmen at CPP majoring in animal science. I made the mistake of applying to CPSLO as a biology major, which is way more impacted to my understanding, when I should’ve applied as an animal science major. Although I am aware CPP is a terrific school, CPSLO is much closer to home and I would like to experience the typical college experience, which CPP does not provide.
Thank you in advance to anyone who has advice :D!
SLO like all CSU’s accept Junior level transfers so 60 semester/90 quarter units so usually a 2 year transfer. You will also need to complete the CSU GE requirements along with any major requirements for SLO. SLO does not have a transfer agreement with Cal Poly Pomona so you need to look at the courses you will need to fulfill the transfer requirements for SLO.
CSU to CSU transfer is definitely possible just realize that SLO is extremely competitive even for Transfers.

@Gumbymom Thank you for the useful link! Do you know if CPP accepts all AP credit (AP Calc, AP Stats, AP Lit, etc) from HS? I have passed all of them. Hopefully they can lessen the amount of units I have to take to transfer.
