Transferring from CC to UCLA, UCSC, UCSB, UCD as single mother

Hello,
Just wondering if anyone has advice or previous experiencest that could help me and other single mothers trying to further their education…

I have applied to UCSB, UCD, UCSC and UCLA

Major: Communications
GPA: 3.5
Pre reqs done by spring 2017
Taking 21 units this semester… feeling optimistic to get a 4.0
Should bump GPA to 3.64

I’m 25, and when I went to college straight out of High school I got a semester of bad grades and never went back, however I have an upward scale of good grades since returning 5 years later.
I am a single mother, I work, I attend school full time and I played soccer for the college team.
My personal insight questions were based on struggles from low income family, first generation college student, student athlete and being a single mother.

I was wondering if they would take into consideration my applications… does anyone current have a similar situation? Or know of someone? Just curious to see what I’m facing.l

You can look up the UC Transfer GPA admit range by UC campus and major to see where you stand on this link:

Good Luck.
