This is my first post here.. I'm not sure if I posted to the right category..anyway I got accepted to Cal Poly Pomona for Winter 2011.. (I also applied to Fullerton, Long Beach, and SDSU for Fall 2011 but didn't hear from them yet). I got a fast response from CPP because they wanted me to switch my Fall 2011 application to this Winter. Anyway.. my major right now is Business Administration (human resources) but I'm considering Hospitality Management since it's a strong major @ CPP. However, driving to CPP will be pretty intense.. considering that it's about 45 minutes away. ANy opinions would be greatly appreciated.. TYIA

You do realize the advantages of living on campus, don’t you? Does your finanial status prevent you from getting a campus residence or dormitory room?

Somewhat, yes

Move on campus or closer to CPP. The commuter lifestyle will destroy your college experience and ability to network, something people forget to do in college is to network with potential co-workers and employers.

I know I initially wrote that I’ll be commuting… but I am reserving a spot at the university village apartment across campus… so excited! Thanks for the feedback
