Transferring From Western Michigan Univeristy to Michigan State University

Hey all, I am currently a Sophomore at Western Michigan University. I am looking to transfer to Michigan State University next fall. My current GPA is a 3.28 with 29 credits. This first semester here at Western this year has been difficult for me. I am expected to end up this semester with a 2.65 which will leave my Cumulative GPA at a 3.08.

Now, I applied to state in November and am waiting to get a letter back within the next few months. The thing here is that i still have to take the required math to get into MSU. I am taking it next semester here at WMU. I know i am expecting to get a letter requesting for my transcripts after this class is completed...But i am worried that they will not be happy with my fall in grades this semester.

I am looking for some advice to see what you all think will happen and what you think their response will be with my application

Thank you all. Please Respond!

Why are you considering transferring? Kalamazoo is a cooler city than E. Lansing. You can get a good education at WMU if you work hard; the profs will take notice. Need more info.
