Transferring in One Year?

when you apply, up to when do the ucs look at your grades? since im on the quarter system do they look at winter quarter grades also or just fall and summer?

Most likely only up to the fall semester/quarter grades will be used in the application process. Winter grades, that are released the end of March or Early April, are likely to be received too late to be considered.

I sort of did it in one year. Well, will do it one year-ish.

Fall 2007 = 14 units (CSUF)
Spring 2008 = 23 units (CSUF/GWC)
Summer 2008 = 20 units (GWC/CCC/OCC)
Fall 2008 = 12 units (GWC/CCC)

Sadly, 6 of my CSUF units from Fall 2007 will not transfer over to a UC. So I'm making up those units with some of those 5-unit language classes. I'm going to sign a TAG contract with UCI in a a few weeks at my CC. So pretty much I was able to transfer in 1.5 years. It would've been exactly one but some CSUF units didn't transfer over. But close enough :)

Note = 20 units over the summer is not exactly great. Especially since they're 8 week classes.

That's not really one year though because you're counting two fall semesters. The app has to be turned in your first fall basically. A typical one year sequence would be summer, fall, winter, spring.
