Does anyone have any insight on transfer admissions at swat? I have stellar hs qualifications, but I am worried that my work at college for the first two years will hurt me. Plus side is i have ascending gpa in my four semesters.

Thanks for any input!

The dataset of transfer applications and acceptances is so small that it is simply impossible for any of us to rate "chances".

It's almost certain that each transfer applicant is evaluated individually and admitted for very specific, individual reasons.

Did you send your transfer app in before the deadline on Tuesday?

I'm in the same boat as you. I had a stellar hs record, but i made the mistake of going to an art school, thinking it was what was best for me, and it turned out it wasn't. I wrote an additional letter stating that if they saw my record the lowest grades I received were in design and art courses, not in the liberal arts. I'm hoping they can see beyond that because I think I have a lot to offer Swarthmore besides grades and test scores.

that's what i figured. the applicant pool for transfers is so small that it is hard to figure anything out based on the stats. just wanted to see if anyone had any personal experience.
