Transferring into A&M question

Hello,

I had a quick question about transferring into A&M for next school year (Fall).

Right now I am a freshman at a college doing my spring semester.

I have completed 16 hours my fall semester and am taking 18 hours right now.

The requirement for a&m transferring is 24 hours, and i will have more than that done by the time next fall comes around, but as of right now, i only have 16 hours completed. (the rest im taking right now)

So does a&m counts the hours i am currently taking right now? Or will I have to wait until spring next semester to transfer in.

Only the completely finished class grades count as hours towards your application. The classes you are taking at the time of application does not qualify to add to that 24. So if you’ve done 16 and are taking 18 to get to 24 now, unfortunately the last 18 hours to complete that requirement will not count.
