Transferring into the college from another school at Penn

<p>If anyone happens to have any information/experience with transferring from another school at penn into CAS, please PM me. I would really like to speak with someone who knows about this, and none of the advisors that I could talk to are on campus at the moment that I know of.</p>

<p>Note that the application says you should “have demonstrated an interest in the liberal arts and completed at least 8 course units at Penn. Competitive candidates will typically have a minimum Penn GPA of 3.0 and high school grades and testing consistent with College of Arts and Sciences freshmen.”</p>

<p>Just kidding. Anyway, in all seriousness, you do know that transfers aren’t taken after the 4th semester at Penn? You just completed (ok, <em>almost</em>) your 2nd year at Penn, so you probably fall under that category unless you took a semester off or something. </p>

<p>Consider your gpa at Penn and your high school numbers. Are they better than what your typical <em>CAS</em> students have? What about the classes you’ve taken? </p>
