Hi! I’m currently a freshman student at a public state college. I would like to transfer to American University in Washington, DC for the fall semester in 2018. By the end of next semester I will have 30 credits and a 3.7/3.8 GPA. I am applying for either international studies or political science. I intern in my hometown for local elections, and a local law office. I was just wondering how hard it is to transfer into American, and what are my chances of being accepted?
I was accepted to American University and Fordham University with a 3.75 GPA and somewhere like 40+ credits… I also waived my test scores. I think you have a great chance of getting admission. Go for it!
Hi! I’m in a similar predicament as you, I would love to transfer to American University or a university in the DC area- I am interested in international studies/diplomacy. I have a friend who is currently attending American University and she loves it. This doesn’t answer your question but as a potential transfer student- good luck!
